Add all the dry ingredients to a mixing bowl and mix well.
Add the maple syrup, oil and water and mix until well combined.
Bring together with clean hands and knead for a couple of minutes until you have a smooth dough. Not sure about kneading? Just keep folding it over on itself and press down.
Preheat the air fryer or oven to 200c/180c fan/400f/gas mark 6.
Shape into a fat sausage and cut into three pieces.
Roll each piece between two sheets of non-stick baking paper until thin. Remember to keep an eye on the size if it's going in the air fryer.
Remove the top layer of paper and prick all over with a fork, to stop it puffing up.
Bake in the middle of air fryer for 8-10 minutes. Baking in the oven will take longer.
Leave to cool, then break into shards.
Serve and enjoy!
These vegan-friendly crackers can be stored in an airtight container once they are cool.
These easy gram crackers will stay crisp for a few days.
They still taste good later on in the week, but they won't be as crisp.
Don't store them in the fridge as they will definitely lose their crispness.
