Add all the sauce ingredients to a pan and warm through, mixing (don't worry if it doesn't look completely smooth, it will come together into a silky sauce as it cookes).
Now break the nest of noodles into the sauce and cook on medium for 4-5 minutes until the sauce is thick and noodles are cooked through.
Serve topped with sliced spring onion (green onion/scallion) and a pinch of sesame seeds and a few salted peanuts or cashews.

Notes
Look for supermarket own-brand noodles, as they are cheaper and the flavour doesn't matter as you are not using the flavouring sachet.
You can add a little more water at the end if you prefer a looser sauce.
